COVID-19: NYESOM WIKE BLOWS HOT, SAYS IF YOU LIKE ORDER FROM NOW TILL TOMORROW, I WILL NOT ACCEPT ALMAJIRI IN RIVERS STATE.

"I still maintain my stand, no Almajiri will be accepted in Rivers State. Rivers State and other parts of Eastern and Southern Nigeria are not dumping refuse for the North. Did you even see how they package those Almajiri? 

Some of them were hidden under cows and covered with blankets and someone in Abuja will be there ordering us to accomodate such people, most especially in this COVID-19 Pandemic? That is totally unacceptable. 

How many Easterners or Southerners have we package and sent to the North? Of course that is not in our blood. Let them born how many they can train, period! Besides we don't have the resources to take care of them, perhaps who knows their plan"?

Nigerians what do you think of this secret evacuation of this Almajiris, into innocent states of the federation?

COVID-19: Nigeria Imports Madagascar’s Herbal Drug as Numbers Rise

The federal government is set to receive the first shipment of Madagascar’s COVID Organics (COV), a herbal drug for the prevention and cure of Coronavirus after the latter offered it Nigeria and other African countries. According to reports, Nigeria’s consignment has been sent to Equatorial Guinea from where it will be airlifted to Abuja. For ease of transportation, African countries were divided into zones leading to the freighting of Nigeria’s consignments to Equatorial Guinea. Nigeria’s COVID-19 positive tally moved to 4,399 last night with 248 new cases announced by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC). Lagos recorded 81 cases, followed by Jigawa State 35 and Borno 26 cases to top the chart. Kano recorded 26 cases, followed by Bauchi with 20 cases. IMF Approves $3.4bn For Nigeria’s COVID-19 Fight

hThe board of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) has approved the sum of $3.4 billion to support Nigeria’s COVID-19 fight. The emergency financial assistance to Nigeria is the highest so far to any member country. The assistance, facilitated via the Rapid Financing Instrument (RFI), will help limit the decline in Nigeria’s international reserves, the IMF said. It will also help to provide financing for the country’s budget, which has been severely affected by falling oil prices triggered by the pandemic and price wars. The IMF praised the Nigerian government’s “immediate” response to the crisis, describing it as “welcome.” However, it noted that short-term focus should be on higher health spending and palliative for households and businesses. The financial body also said Nigeria should take steps to unify its exchange rate as quickly as possible.
